Leandro Sánchez Bobillo
was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1946. Here he studied Fine Arts and the techniques of painting and restoratian of art worksAfter working for 43 years as an art restorer, in Ávila and elsewhere, he chose to be a painter and settled in Ourense (Galicia).
His work is being collected by museums and he won several art contests in Spain. Regularly he exhibits in Galería Manuel Márquez and shortly in the Municipal Museum of Ourense. Galerist and art historian Manuel Márquez Crespo wrote about the artist’s exhibition ‘Metafísica Cotidana’:  “Leandro es en cierto modo un Giorqio Chírico camerístico, concentrado, trocando las plazas donde el enigma reina por objetos cotidianos inmersos en la atemporalidad”.  In the exhibion in Galerie De Opsteker the emphasis is on Leandro’s abract type of painting. 

Carlos Pérez de Albeniz was born in Zaragoza in 1941. He worked in this city as a doctor, a sculptor and figurative artist, working as well in the abstraction.
He realized many art exhibitions showing his work especially with the sculptures in several cities and  created a considerable number of urban sculptures which are located all around the city of Zaragoza. The most well know is “Puerta de la Luz” (The light door), a 17 meters height sculpture that is located in one of the main entrances of the city.
Multifaceted artist, Carlos Perez de Albeniz once confessed: “if I´m not exercising the medicine, I´m sculpting or imagining sculptures. I cure the people and the arts cure me, this is my best therapy.” Carlos Perez de Albeniz died in 2006 in Zaragoza, when he was 65 years old.
